condoms

According to the US Centers for Disease control, when used properly, latex condoms help reduce the risk of transmission of HIV (AIDS) and many other sexually transmitted diseases.

  • Open condoms carefully!
  • Do not use teeth or scissors.
  • Do not use after expiration date.
  • Make sure the condom package is air tight.

NEVER use oil-based lubricants like hand cream, Vaseline, or Crisco. ALWAYS use a WATER-BASED lubricant like KY Jelly, ID Glide or WET.

Using condoms or lube with nonoxynol-9 may irritate the genital region and create another pathway for HIV and other STD's to enter.

Where can I find condoms in the Triad?
