Meet Our Run/Walk’s Namesake, Ron Johnson

Ron Johnson is a partner in the law firm of Johnson, Peddrick & McDonald, PLLC in Greensboro, NC, which specializes in estate planning, estate administration, business law, and nonprofit corporations. He is a founder of Triad Health Project, past president of the THP Board of Directors, and a longtime THP supporter and advocate. Named 2017’s Outstanding Philanthropist of Greensboro, Ron Johnson has consistently been the single largest individual fundraiser for THP’s AIDS Walk for 27 consecutive years, raising nearly $700,000. Ron’s heartfelt and inspiring commitment to THP honors his promise to the late “Mrs. Leon,” Aileen Oldham, founder of Leon’s Style Salons and Beauty School, that he would carry on her legacy as the top fundraiser for this event, originally known as the Winter Walk for AIDS.
